Meet the Teacher
Name: Frau Steele
Place of Birth: Bern, Switzerland
Moved to US: 1995, Thousand Oaks, CA
Moved to TX: 1998 - presence
My Alma Matter: California Lutheran University and Sul Ross State University
Before I became a teacher: My family owned an organic vegetable farm.
Why I became a German teacher: I followed both my father's and his father's footsteps. My dad taught German and History, while my grandpa taught Elementary School. I always knew that's what I wanted to do. While teaching science classes at Sul Ross State University I was hooked and became certified to teach. After a couple of years of teaching Biology and Anatomy, I found my true calling in German.
Languages: Swiss German, High German, French, English
Favorites: When i'm not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family, pets and friends. I occasionally play violin, piano and guitar, read, swim in the Comal River or take a road trip to anywhere.
